Research Associate, Intelligent Systems Division

Logan Eisenbeiser is a research associate in the Intelligent Systems Division of the Virginia Tech National Security Institute. Eisenbeiser’s research interests include machine learning and neural networks with most of his work being primarily with Generative Adversarial Networks (GANs) and Variational Auto Encoders (VAEs).

Eisenbeiser has been working with NSI for three years and has contributed to projects spanning a wide array of neural network and computer vision capabilities.

His thesis work was in latent space conditioning techniques for music generation networks, and he has worked on conditional generation techniques across various domains. Eisenbeiser specializes in latent manipulation techniques including clustering and classification.

Eisenbeiser received his M.S. and B.S. in computer engineering at Virginia Tech.
