Postdoctoral Associate, Quantum Systems

Sabrina is a Postdoctoral Associate working with Vassilios Kovanis in the Spectral Dominance Division at the Virginia Tech National Security Institute. She received her Ph.D. and M.S. in Computational and Applied Mathematics at Southern Methodist University, and a B.S. in Mathematics and in Economics at Tarleton State University. Her dissertation research was in the investigation and modeling of optical solitary waves in nonlinear Kerr media with dominant fourth-order dispersion. Her areas of expertise are in applied mathematics, nonlinear optics, dynamical systems, and computational modeling of complex physical systems.
