Jacob Dennis comes from The Virginia Tech Transportation Institute (VTTI) and has been involved in autonomous vehicle development efforts and led teams to realize various project goals. His background spans embedded system design in C/C++ through machine learning and ai applications in higher-level abstractions.

His background in embedded system design provides him insight into the unique challenges in resource constrained bare-metal and RTOS systems. He’s adept at leveraging the techniques from various fields and applying them to unique problems.

His main interests are within the fields of Machine Learning, Computer Vision, and robotics in general. He earned his M.S and B.S in computer engineering at Virginia Tech.
