Ben Borlovan comes from the defense industry with over 25 years of service, 20 of which have been directly focused on the development of critical products in support of the DoD and Intelligence community.  Ben has been in a verity of roles leading and driving the development of technologies such as Command and Control Systems, Embedded Systems, Radar Warning Receivers, Radars, Infrastructures for Data Centers/Ground Stations, Data Processing Systems, Security Systems, and Cyber.  Joining Virginia Tech, Ben aspires to give back to the next generation of leaders and innovators, helping to attract talent and enabling that talent with the skills needed to drive the next generation of defense technologies and innovations.
