Mr. Ehren Hill is the Director for Education & Outreach at the Virginia Tech National Security Institute and the Managing Director of the Hume Center for National Security and Technology. Mr. Hill leads the Hume Center’s educational programs which focus on student engagement, recruitment, and includes numerous research, workforce development, and scholarship programs. Mr. Hill is the PI or Co-PI on several student focused sponsored programs and grants with over $16Mil in active awards, including VT’s Intelligence Community Center for Academic Excellence (IC CAE), DoD Cyber Scholarship Program (DoD CySP), Senior Military College (SMC) Cyber Institute, and several industry workforce development programs. Prior to joining the Hume Center, Mr. Hill worked at Ardent Management Consulting as the lead management consultant for the Department of Homeland Security supporting the Geospatial Management Office (GMO), the National Operations Center (NOC), the National Cybersecurity and Communications Integration Center (NCCIC). Mr. Hill has a B.S. in Environmental Science from the University of Oregon, a Master’s degree in Geographic Information Systems and a graduate certificate in Geospatial Intelligence from Penn State University.
