Prior to her time at the National Security Institute, Izzy served as the marketing and communications coordinator for the Apex Center for Entrepreneurs within the Pamplin College of Business at Virginia Tech. Izzy also has professional experience as a news reporter and multimedia journalist.

Izzy graduated from Virginia Tech with her B.A. in Multimedia Journalism in 2020. She is currently working toward a M.A. Reputation Management at Virginia Tech.
