Mary is a recent graduate from Virginia Tech with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Information Technology and a minor in Data and Decisions. While at VT, she worked with the SSD department in Blacksburg on the ‘Use and Abuse of PII’ project. Originally from Ethiopia, she has always been curious about different cultures and technologies. She is currently pursuing expertise in systems modeling and is interested in the applications of machine learning and large language models (LLMs). Outside of work, she enjoys playing musical instruments and learning new languages.
