Research Engineer, Spectrum Dominance Division

Elliott Rheault joined the Virginia Tech National Security Institute (VTNSI) as a Research Engineer for the Spectrum Dominance Division. Elliot is a computer scientist who recently graduated from Virginia Tech. Prior to becoming a member of the VTNSI team, he studied software engineering focusing on Cloud and Mobile based software development and architecture design. Those systems primarily utilized AWS, SQL, Java/Jakarta-EE, Swift/Swift-UI, C, Python, Git, and RESTful Web Services. He also has experience in algorithm design, UNIX, and “low level” system design in C. Besides software engineering, he enjoys cooking (primarily eastern Asian cuisine), swimming, biking, and Dungeons & Dragons.
