Senior Enterprise Applications Developer

May Zin Oo is a Senior Enterprise Applications Developer with a background in business applications and data analytics and over five years of experience building enterprise solutions, including more than three years at Virginia Tech, where she has delivered production solutions across Student Affairs departments. She specializes in the Microsoft Power Platform, SharePoint Online, and cloud integration, with expertise in Power BI, Azure, and data engineering across systems like Snowflake and Dataverse. Her work spans intelligent process automation, governance and security controls, and business intelligence dashboards that turn fragmented data into decisions leadership can act on.

Before Virginia Tech, she built multi-region BI solutions for enterprise clients across Asia, EMEA, and the US, and spent nearly a decade as a university lecturer in Burma. She holds a Ph.D. in Wireless Ad Hoc Networking from the University of Malaya in 2012 and is currently pursuing a Master of Information Technology at Virginia Tech.
