Research Data Analyst
Sami Saliba is a Research Data Analyst at the National Security Institute, returning to Virginia Tech after completing a summer internship at the Hume Center for National Security and Technology. He recently earned his B.S. in Systems Engineering with a concentration in Economics from the University of Virginia. Sami has authored several publications on the applications of reinforcement learning and machine learning to real-world problems. At NSI, his work will focus on adversarial and multi-agent reinforcement learning, along with collaborations across various domains. Outside of work, Sami bartends in Charlottesville and plays keyboard for the renowned college cover band, The EELS.
