Charlotte Lowdermilk

Project Manager, Program Management Office

Charlotte Lowdermilk is a project manager within the Program Management Office of the Virginia Tech National Security Institute. 

She recently worked at the Virginia Tech Transportation Institute for the past 11 years where she initially served as a research coordinator. She then held roles as a project associate, and most recently as a project manager.

Lowdermilk began her career at Virginia Tech in 2002 with University Development. Over the course of nine years, she advanced from a development associate, to a telefund administrative supervisor, and finally to an assistant director of development research.

Lowdermilk attended Virginia Tech and earned a B.A. in English and a minor concentration in psychology.
